- Support for postgreSQL database
- Can you add a backup function to export all pages of a namespace to a textfile and allow the user to download it to their computer.
- Sometimes I would like to force a line break to spread things out. Mainly when I have a bullet point after a paragraph or heading I want it to have a line of blank space before the bullet points.
- Status: Re-Opened
- Comments: Just use more ENTER's to place more blank lines in your text.
- Comments: My mistake, this is a flaw in the FormattingRules?. It will be looked into and fixed.
- Sometimes you refer to things that the wiki system trys to make into links e.g. MySQL?. It would be nice if you could stop that from happening by enclosing it with brackets or something similar e.g. ((MySQL)) to stop it from happening.
- Status: Closed
- Comments: This has always been implemented, it's part of the FormattingRules? (though not on that page
), use BackTicks? to stop PWiki2 from Formatting the text. Use 2 BackTicks enclosed around the Text.
- I would like to have a site hits section so I know how many people have viewed my site and what pages they are looking at.
- Stats: Done
- Comments: I will create a function for this. However for future note, this can be done easily with MySQL?. I will add information on FormattingRules? for how this is done. The function is pagehits --JamesMills?
- I would like to be able to change links like LinksPage? to be like Links Page? without having to stuff around rebuilding everything under it again.
- Status: Defered
- Comments: This is part of a NewFeature? being added to PWiki2? called PageRenaming?. See: WikiFeatures?:PageRenaming?
- Can you make the upload function create a folder for namespaces and pages so you or other users won't overwrite other peoples files by mistake.
- Status: Done
- Comments: Please see the UploadTest? page.
- Please make double clicking while already on an edit page NOT trigger document.location=' editpage?'!!!! This is a rather frustrating bug, as you lose all your changes if you accidentally double click and you can't get them back. (Not C-z, not back, it's gone for good)
- Status: Done
- Comments: I was not able to make double-clicking while in edit mode to save the page. If someone knows how to fix this, please feel free.
- Make an 'initial' database, then make that the sql file for initialization. That way FindPage?, etc don't have to be made manually.
- Support named links, of the form {Long description here|WikiNameHere?} (except with square brackets)
- Status: Done
- Comments: What I have done is added the ability to have spaces in page names. For instance: This is a test page?
- Attractive: Either by default or with one of the themes, pwiki2 should look like a normal site. For example, see http://www.freedesktop.org. At first glance, it is a regular site. On second glance, you realize the entire thing is wiki powered. This is how a wiki should be. Useable, and only a wiki if you notice the 'edit me' link at the bottom.
- Rather off topic, but maybe as a plugin: An ability to convert the site into dead trees. Not generally useful, but we're using pwiki2 for documenting various stuff about our network etc, and occasionally it will be necessary to print.
